New Year Oasis Update
Well, another year has turned and here we are at the start of 2023 with a new year Oasis update. I reckon it’s fair to say that the Oasis was once Swindon’s pride and joy, If nothing else it attracted visitors from miles around. They came from Oxford, Cheltenham, Bristol – even as far afield as Cardiff.We took our first 2023 walk around the site today and it’s clear that the neglect of the site by SevenCapital continues.
New Oasis Plans Submitted
New Oasis Plans Submitted – It’s fantastic to hear that a planning application is at last submitted to restore the iconic grade II listed Oasis dome and pool.
This is what we’ve been campaigning for from the very beginning. It’s been a long road so far. Despite the constant negativity from some Conservative councillors at Swindon Borough Council and from Seven Capital, we always knew that the Oasis deserved its listed status.
SBC bidding for Oasis Funding
